Personable and professional, Tarah is a great representative of women's wakeboarding. She is a hard worker, and has been immersed in the water sports industry her entire life. Tarah began first with water skiing, in which she won many national and world titles. Tarah made the switch to wakeboarding in 2006. Tarah has competed professionally several years now and recently placed 2nd at the Malibu Sparks Pro, 2nd at WakeFest, 3rd at the Malibu Tokyo Pro, 3rd at the Malibu Houston Pro, 2nd overall in the Evolution Pro Series and 3rd overall in The WWA Wakeboard World Series. She scored the cover of Wake Journal in June of 2015. And Tarah was just named Female Rider of the Year by the World Wakeboard Council!
She won Coach of the Year in '10 & '11. In 2011 she won Female Move of the Year, and she was the 1st Pro Woman to win the MyWake Global Challenge summer video contest in 2012.
Tarah is in this for the long haul, striving to make a positive impact in the sport. She coaches all year long at Freedom Wake Park, training both beginners and upcoming National and World Champions. Not only is she highly visible on a day-to-day basis, but she has been featured on wakeworld.com, iwake.com, ESPN radio 1080, several issues of Wake Journal, Alliance Wake Magazine, Transworld Wakeboarding Mag. and transworldwake.com. Tarah has done a lot of filming with WakeGirls.com, helping grow the exposure women wakeboarders receive. She has hosted "Wake Tips" and several instructional segments for Obrien.com. She is very involved with product development for her sponsors. And Tarah will continue to promote wakeboarding through her riding, coaching at Freedom Wake Park, clinics, boat shows and demos around the world.
