Personable and professional, Tarah is a great representative of women's wakeboarding. She is a hard worker, and has been immersed in the water sports industry her entire life. Tarah began first with water skiing, in which she won many national and world titles. Tarah made the switch to wakeboarding in 2006. She has competed several years on the pro tour and most recently placed 3rd at WakeFest and 4th at the Malibu Cancun Pro. She won Coach of the Year in '10 & '11. In 2011 she won Female Move of the Year, and she was the 1st Pro Woman to win the MyWake Global Challenge summer video contest in 2012.
Tarah is in this for the long haul, striving to make a positive impact in the sport. She coaches all year long at Freedom Wake Park, training both beginners and upcoming National and World Champions. Not only is she highly visible on a day-to-day basis, but she has been featured on wakeworld.com, iwake.com, ESPN radio 1080, several issues of Wake Journal, Alliance Wake Magazine, Transworld Wakeboarding Mag. and transworldwake.com. Tarah has done a lot of filming with WakeGirls.com, helping grow the exposure women wakeboarders receive. She has hosted "Wake Tips" and several instructional segments for Obrien.com. She is very involved with product development for her sponsors. And Tarah will continue to promote wakeboarding through her riding, coaching at Freedom Wake Park, clinics, boat shows and demos around the world.
